It seems like “anybody” can’t merely go and entry a shared doc from iCloud, as a result of they would wish to register to an Apple account to entry it, which could be a important inconvenience in comparison with the advantage of acquiring the file.

Think about an individual who does not have an electronic mail (sure). Now they must create an electronic mail account first, then register it with Apple simply to see a shared file? This doesn’t fall into the definition of “anybody” for my part. I really feel so silly and deceived even making an attempt to make it work.

Additionally, even customers with present accounts would require to Signal-In, which could be a number of trouble (attainable password restoration, and so forth, and so forth).

Did I misread the process, and possibly it’s the truth is attainable to share a doc with out torturing the recipient of signing in simply to view the file? 🙏
