ios – Why is not proper click on drag connecting to exit button on unwind segue

Within the hooked up display screen shot I’ve an app with a (A) Signal on view controller, (B) Feed VC -B, and (C) Settings VC- C. I would like the SettingsVC to have a log off button that unwinds again to the Signal on view controller. On the signal on view controller’s class I added unwind segue by typing
IBAction func unwindToSignUp(unwindSegue: UIStoryboardSegue) {}
From every thing I’ve learn this could have enabled me to proper click on and drag from my signal out button to the exit button on the view controller to provoke the unwind segue, however after I proper click on drag like I’ve seen on a number of tutorials the blue line won’t hook up with the exit. Is there one thing I can test to see that I’ve finished improper that will stop this? I restarted Xcode, I restarted my machine, and I’m not certain what else to attempt. My aim is to have the ability to navigate from A -> B -> C after which when button is tapped go from C -> A eradicating B from stack.
